Atmosphere
At G.S. Garritano & Associates, CPAs, LLC, we have achieved a work environment that combines casual daily staff interaction with professional client and business contact. Our pace is hectic at times due to the time constraints and deadlines of our profession, but we also take time to recognize birthdays, holidays and other special events. All staff is given a level of freedom and independence consistent with their talent and personality. However, all end product work is review by a CPA prior to delivery to a client. Our office operates in a paperless environment which allows qualified staff members to have the flexibility to work from home. Technology is used to create efficiencies and allow us to better serve our client base.
Workload
At all times of the year, the staff of G.S. Garritano & Associates, CPAs, LLC is busy. As with most firms in this profession, we have times that require extended hours, focus and energy. Unlike most other firms, we adjust our hours every summer to create three and four day weekends every other week. While we provide all of the traditional services of a CPA firm, people from other firms are pleasantly surprised at the extent of non-traditional accounting and consulting services we provide. This gives our staff an opportunity to gain experience and insights not available at other firms.
Clients
Individuals and businesses who engage the services of G.S. Garritano & Associates, CPAs, LLC are as unique as the population from which they come. They are geographically scattered, in different industries, with different personalities, approaches and education. The size of our client business, the way they use technology and the extent to which they use our services are all based on the individual preference of those we serve. This creates a workplace that is always interesting, challenging and changing.
Non-Billable Time
We believe the time spent when not billing a client is important to our staff members and to our clients. Office meetings are held on a regular basis both in and out of the office to keep all members of the firm informed. This time is used to share information regarding the firm and clients. It is used to train, share and bond our team to be more productive and able to work together. We value family and community and go out of our way to support maximum staff involvement in both.
