Erica M. Murphy joined the Garritano team in the fall of 2021 as a Senior Staff Accountant. As a proud veteran of the NY Air National Guard, she served our country for over 20 years while still advancing in her career and raising two beautiful children. Erica works with individuals and businesses in a variety of industries and circumstances to identify their needs and deliver incredible service. Her detailed and thoughtful approach has made her an incredible asset to both her team and the clients we serve.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and why?
If I had a superpower, it would be the ability to teleport places so I would never have to sit in traffic again!
What have you done or achieved that you are most proud of and why?
I have 2 things in my life I am most proud of: being the mother to my 2 children and serving my country for 20 years. Both of these achievements are the result of hard work, love, selflessness, and patience. They have taught me so much about myself.
Who is/was the most influential person in your life and why?
My Mom and Grandmother are the two most influential people in my life. Both of these women have been there for me no matter what, at every turn and event in my life. My Mom, after losing her husband, raised 3 young girls on her own while putting herself through law school. She constantly sacrificed for us without complaint and made she we had all we ever needed. My Grandmother was a fantastic businesswoman rising through the ranks starting as a bank teller and ending her career as one of the few female controllers in Manhattan in the 1970s & 1980s, while always being there for her family.
