Your Role:

• Prepare complex financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, & corporations.
• Perform inputting, bank & credit card reconciliations, and posting journal entries for clients.
• Process employee paychecks for clients, including calculating payroll tax deposit requirements.
• Provide guidance to clients on accounting, tax, and business matters.
• Research and analyze accounting, tax, and business issues.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate all correspondence with your team.
• Participate in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures.
• Assist in year-end planning for businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
• Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff and bookkeepers.
• Work collaboratively with other members of your team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience preparing financial statements & tax returns for individuals, partnerships, & corporations.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Commitment to quality and professionalism.
• Desire to continually learn and improve.

Bonus Points:

• CPA or working towards CPA certification.
• Experience in financial analytics and/or financial modeling
• Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Power BI.
• Experienced with Lacerte Tax software.
