Maureen Perez, CPA has been amazing at keeping the workday light since she joined the Garritano team in 2005. In addition to running our office trivia and Wordle competitions, she is one of the most detail-oriented and hardworking professionals you will ever meet. Maureen has worked with business owners in a variety of industries including construction, professional services, e-commerce, and much more. Maureen takes on each challenge with an eye on quality, and completeness, and always asks the question: “does it make sense?”.
Questions & Answers
What was your favorite Garritano moment?
It has to be when the police showed up at our door looking for one of our youngest coworkers. Turned out that he did not respond to a stop sign ticket and it was escalated to an arrest warrant. The expression on everyone's face was priceless. A valuable lesson was learned that day.
Who is/was the most influential person in your life and why?
The most influential person in my life would have to be my mom. She always put family before herself and she was always there for anyone in need.
How would your life change if you won the lottery tomorrow?
If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd like to think that not a lot would change. I would definitely pay off my house, put in a built-in pool, buy houses for my children and go on several vacations a year!
